Following a recent audit of the Company's Health and Safety Management System, we are pleased to announce that we have been issued with a certificate to OHSAS 18001:1999 by the Governing Board of ISOQAR.

OHSAS 18001:1999 is a recognised standard against which an organisation can have their health and safety management system certified and assessed.

As Longwood Engineering is now certified to this standard, we are able to:-

• Effectively control our occupational health and safety risks;
• Gain assurance that we are conforming to our OH&S Policy;
• Demonstrate such conformance to others;
• Maintain and continually improve our OH&S Management System;
• Make a self determination and declaration of conformance to this OHSAS specification

At Longwood Engineering Company we have always considered health and safety to be paramount and to be on an equal footing with other business objectives. By becoming registered to OHSAS 18001:1999 we are now able to take health and safety to the next level.
